Love at First Coffee

6 Jun

Having had my handful of favorite coffee shops while studying up in Boston, I have been seeking out a cozy, nice coffee shop for myself in Miami. This has been an important endeavor, as coffee is my go-to drink after some good ole’ water.  While I love my Starbucks, I enjoy a truer, richer coffee that I can tweek to my own likings. Don’t get my wrong, you can get all sorts of deliciousness through the ‘Bucks but there’s just something so systematic about it.

Meeting up with a fellow Miami blogger, Jen, I had my first experience at Pasion del Cielo. Nestled up in Downtown Dadeland, this hidden gem is a fantastic find! I got to the cashier and was told to choose from an array of coffee beans from different countries that would soon after be used for my coffee of choice. How great is that?!? Naturally, I tasted the Peruvian blend to rep’ my roots. I ordered a cappuccino and added some vanilla flavor to it. Man oh man! It was the best cappuccino I’ve had in a long time, and for a coffee connoisseur like myself, that says a lot!

Pasion del Cielo, keep your eye out for me! I will definitely be back…soon!
